Owner Spotlight: Leanne Gould

I’m Leanne Gould, a leading mortgage broker at The Mortgage Group.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

From an early age, I’ve been fond of meeting people and building relationships with them. My desires to be social and educative encouraged me to join the mortgage industry. I earned my mortgage broker license in 2009, and since then, I’ve formed numerous professional relationships with unique people and helped them all successfully finance their dream homes.

During my consultations with clients, I love getting to know them, their needs, and unique situations. Moreover, I love finding them different financial solutions to match their requirements perfectly. Helping families finance their dream homes or reduce their cash flow stress is a win-win for us all, and I enjoy being able to do this every day.

While educating clients about different mortgage options, I make sure to inform them that rates are not the most crucial part of choosing a mortgage. Besides, considering rates, clients also need to understand if the terms and conditions of a mortgage are suitable for them.

I treat all my clients with respect and compassion that I would expect from a service provider.

I feel that as their licensed mortgage professional, it is my obligation to provide them with enough information to make informed and educated decisions.

At the same time, I aim to maintain honesty and transparency when it comes to lenders and mortgage products. These two qualities are the most important aspects of any transaction.

When a client feels stuck, I will also provide them with my professional opinions and reasons for why my recommendations. For a better understanding, I even make sure to walk them through the mortgage process.

My most significant achievement over the years was successfully helping a family that was about to lose their home. With a more efficient mortgage solution and a few tweaks to their financial management strategy, they were able to reclaim their home and pay off their debts. I even helped them to incorporate a safety nest egg for the future.

When I am not at work, I love spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy walks outside, reading, and traveling to warm places. Another activity I enjoy is scuba diving. I am a beginner scuba diver, and I look forward to more underwater excursions whenever possible.

I’m also involved with several constructive organizations that aim to develop our community. Whenever I can, I also sign up to volunteer with them.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
